Lighthouse Keeper Program
The lighthouse is an iconic symbol found across the nation along the coastline. Its recognizable structure
and necessary function of helping ships navigate treacherous waterways is widely known. Symbolically, the
lighthouse stands for strength, guidance, and leading a way forward through difficult times. The job of the
lighthouse keeper is to not only maintain the house but to, more importantly, maintain the light. The
Lighthouse Keeper Program was designed to reward ECCAS students who take the initiative and go above and beyond in advancing their college and career readiness.
