Internships are a professional learning experience for students 16 or older that offers meaningful and practical work related to a student's field of study or career interest. This work-based learning opportunity enhances career exploration and development as well introduces new professional skills. Certain internships may qualify for high school credit. Students may contact the ECCAS career counselor and career specialists to discuss internship opportunities.

Career Center staff members will share the required documents with students interested in an internship. The site includes an interest form students may complete for assistance with landing a host company. Job Shadowing is an educational program in which students can explore a particular profession to see if the career may be suitable for them.
